Cronjobs
Sofco sets up cronjobs for periodic data retrieval. A cronjob or crontab is a scheduled command that executes a program or script at a set time.
Often cronjobs are used for retrieving e-mail, sending e-mail or checking for updates. Sofco uses cronjobs in particular to retrieve data from, for example, your internal system or to back up a database, invoke a PHP script or execute a command on the server.
It is not possible to set cronjobs yourself, these are only set by Sofco for you. You can indicate the frequency with which you want a cron job to be performed.
